Our Story
Who are we?
Hey there! We're a pair of identical twins who are absolutely obsessed with creating beautiful jewellery and art. We have such a blast working together, which is why we decided to start Marimusa. It's our online platform where we can showcase and sell all of our one-of-a-kind creations. Our passions run deep for crafting exquisite, top-notch jewellery, as well as painting, ceramics, and textiles. After recently finishing up our BA in Textiles, we realized that our true calling lies in the world of jewellery. So here we are, ready to dive headfirst into what we love most!
The Inspiration
We absolutely adore the ocean, both with its gorgeous colours and ageless mysteries - it's what inspires our jewellery designs. Each piece is crafted with love, drawing inspiration from the earth's natural wonders and the treasures found in the sea. We take pride in using only the finest, un-treated gemstones and luxurious gold and Sterling silver chains. Our designs are also influenced by the enchanting ancient world, with its intricate beaded jewellery and captivating mythological tales.
Our goal is to transport you to another realm with our jewellery, evoking a sense of magic and mystery. We want you to stand out from the crowd and feel truly beautiful and confident when wearing our pieces.
What we Envision
We envision a world where people break free from ordinary trends - where they dress exquisitely and feel confident in their aesthetics and styles with bold outfits and equally as vibrant jewellery. We want jewellery to not be an after thought, but the star of the show, where each piece tells its own story and adds value to the ensemble. It is important to us that people of all ages are able to fully express themselves uniquely- to be able to put on an outfit and their jewellery and not have a single thought about what people will think about them.
